There are certain normal costs linked to closing the sale of a house. These costs are usually divided between the buyer and seller, as noted in the sales contract. Sellers: As we negotiate your sale, not only will I work to get the highest sales price, but I'll also push for lower closing costs. And once we've reached an agreement, I'll walk you through the closing costs so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Buyers: If you are purchasing a house in Lexington County, you'll be given a "Loan Estimate" (LE) of closing costs within three days of submitting your loan application. The estimate is based on the loan officer's prior experience and is required to be within a suitable range so you're not shocked when you arrive at the closing table. I'll be glad to look through the LE with you, answering your questions and highlighting any estimates that seem questionable.
