Mark your calendar & write your check! It's that time of year again! Yes, that's right! The Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce announces its 2009 Golf Tournament. Planning is underway for a great day! The Date is April 24, 2009, at the Club at Rawls Creek. The Chamber we will host two flights (8:00 AM and 1:30PM). We are currently seeking teams (60 max.), sponsors, and giveaway items.

First Annual Funfest Bass Tournament at Larry Koon Landing and Lake Murray. Registration fee is $100. After September 1, 2008 registration will be $125. he festival is a two day event featuring a street dance, parade, arts and crafts, rides and amusements, petting zoo, and lots of festival food.  Attendance for the celebration is estimated at 55,000 annually. The festival is managed by a board of commissioners appointed by the Irmo Town Council and we are proud to say, "we are the nation's original celebration of Okra." Registration & Driving Range Opens at 9:00 a.m.,located at Woodcreek Farms Country Club in Elgin SC. Come join your friends, play the greatest game ever invented at one of Columbia's premier courses and help the Ronald McDonald House of Columbia provide comfort and care for families of critically ill and injured children.
